A QSO is a two-way radio contact between operators. To log one, add a new contact with the other operator's callsign, the channel or frequency, date and time, and any notes you want to keep.

Yes. The contact map plots your QSOs by location so you can visualise your coverage. Nearby contacts cluster together and expand as you zoom in.

Absolutely. You can record the antennas and rigs you use, then associate them with your contacts to see which setups perform best.

Tap the heart icon on any contact in your log to mark it as a favourite. You can then use the favourites filter to view just those contacts.

Yes. Your data is yours — from your profile you can download everything we hold about you (profile, antennas and contacts) as a JSON file, and you can also export your full contact log to CSV at any time.

We store your login email and the profile, contact (QSO), and antenna details you choose to add — including any locations you record. You decide what, if anything, is shown publicly on the operators map. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Go to your profile and choose 'Delete my account'. This permanently and immediately erases your profile, logged contacts, antennas, photos and roles. The action cannot be undone.

We use a few strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in. Non-essential third parties (Google reCAPTCHA, used on the contact form to stop spam) only load after you accept cookies in the consent banner.

Under GDPR you can access, export, correct, restrict, object to, or delete your data, and withdraw consent at any time. Export and account deletion are self-service from your profile; for anything else, contact us. See the Privacy Policy for the full list.

CB radio licensing rules vary by country. Many regions allow licence-free CB operation on approved equipment, while others require registration. Check your local regulations before transmitting.

Yes. The app is fully responsive and works on phones, tablets, and desktops, so you can log contacts wherever you operate.

As you use CB Radio Logbook you earn achievement badges for milestones such as logging contacts, reaching new regions, completing your profile and setting up your gear. Each badge has a rarity tier and is worth points.

Most badges are awarded automatically the moment you meet their criteria — for example logging your first contact or filling out your profile. You can view the badges you have earned, and the ones still to unlock, on your Achievements page.

Every badge is worth a number of points based on its rarity. Your community points are the total from all the badges you have earned. The leaderboard ranks operators by their total points so you can see how your station compares with others.

A CB radio net is an organised, scheduled gathering of CB radio operators who meet on an agreed channel at a set time. Many are coordinated by a net controller who manages check-ins so everyone gets a chance to be heard.

No. CB radio is licence-free in the UK provided you use approved equipment on the authorised 27 MHz channels. You can simply tune to the net's channel at the scheduled time and listen or check in.

Each net lists its own channel and, where relevant, frequency and mode. Many UK nets use popular calling channels such as channel 19 or 14, but always check the individual net listing for the correct channel.

Yes. Anyone can organise a net. Once you have an account you can create a net, set its channel, schedule and recurrence, and have it listed in the directory so other operators can find and join you.

Joining a CB net is completely free. CB Radio Logbook is a free companion app, and taking part in nets is part of the hobby at no cost.
