Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 29 Jun 2026. This is a starter draft — please review and adjust the wording to suit your business before relying on it. It is not legal advice.
1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CB Radio Logbook (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Your account
- You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login details secure.
- You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
- We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or misuse the Service.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by posting unlawful, abusive, or infringing content, attempting to disrupt the Service, or accessing data you are not authorised to access.
4. Free and Pro plans
The Service offers a Free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Features included in each tier may change over time. Some features are only available to Pro subscribers.
5. Subscriptions, billing & renewals
- The Pro subscription costs £2.99 per month unless otherwise stated at checkout.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
- Payments are processed securely by our payment provider; we do not store your full card details.
- Prices may change; we will give reasonable notice of any change before it affects you.
6. Cancellation & refunds
You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep Pro access until then. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
7. Grandfathered access
Operators who joined before paid plans were introduced retain free full access to Pro features ("grandfathered" access). This benefit is granted at our discretion and does not create a paid contract.
8. Your content
You retain ownership of the contacts, logs, and other content you add. You grant us the permissions needed to operate the Service (for example, storing and displaying your content to you and, where you choose, to other operators).
9. Availability & changes
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Privacy
Our handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
